If you refuse to choose between piste or powder, between bumps or prepared carving tracks, the Kenja 88 with revised geometry will be your ideal partner in all circumstances.
Thanks to its very wide range of uses, this all-mountain freeride ski with its cutting-edge design will be particularly suitable for skiers who attach great importance to sporting performance, but do not want to settle permanently in a particular discipline, on or off the slopes.
Thanks to its 3D Radius Sidecut design, this ski offers three different curvature radii that give it impressive carving performance. A different part of the ski grips the snow depending on the speed and edge angle, allowing the ski to perfectly negotiate each turn, and to manage the terrain and power transmission. The tip and tail rocker optimizes the fluidity of turn initiation and tolerates errors in deep powder or choppy conditions. The one-meter shorter waist radius allows the ski to be steered with significantly less effort.
With the Kenja 88, female skiers will be equipped to take on any challenge on the mountain. To ensure optimal adaptation of the skiing properties to all lengths from 149 to 170 cm, the Kenja 88 will be equipped this season with Tailored Carbon Tips and a Tailored Titanal Frame. What does this mean? The Tailored Titanal Frame, integrated into many models of the Titanal freeride ski range, is a further development of the previous Titanal frame. This design allows the width of the Titanal upper chord to be adapted to the ski length. The resulting torsional rigidity and damping properties can thus be tuned to the specific needs of the skier. Since smaller skis have a smaller Titanal content, even the smallest and lightest among us will be able to get the most out of these skis with minimal effort.
The Kenja 88 offers a particularly versatile range of uses, thanks in part to its new Tailored Carbon Tip tips. Carbon fibers applied using Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP) allow for optimal control of turning behavior. The thickness and arrangement of the fibers determine the level of force and energy accumulation required, and this is done in the precise areas where it is needed. The great agility provided by the tip effect is particularly beneficial here. This means that this ski allows for easy and controlled turning from the start of the turn. You almost only have to imagine the change of direction, and that's it! This design also makes it possible to offer a lightweight ski without sacrificing any stability.
The new Kenja 88 with tip and tail rocker also features the proven multi-layer wood core combined with a full-length sidewall and P-Tex 2100 coating.
