BXTR Metal pays homage to Baxter Street, a popular skate spot in Los Angeles where style and authenticity are always in the spotlight, just like this frame. The shield sunglasses were developed by the Oakley® design team, who collaborated closely with friends of the brand to discover a unique take on lifestyle eyewear. The modernized trigger stem of BXTR Metal is inspired by Oakley's original Razor Blade sunglasses. The frame is enhanced with metallic material in homage to the prototype of the first Oakley sunglass, made from a goggle lens and a wire coat hanger. The BiO-Matter®* frame material ensures all-day comfort and lightweight durability, while the Unobtainium® nose pads provide enhanced grip.
