Reconciling performance and comfort is the mission of the Shadow boot, designed in the shadows of our workshops in Montebelluna, Italy, in the sanctuary of the ski boot. The Shadow 95 MV (Medium Volume) all-mountain ski boot is designed for intermediate to expert skiers looking for performance and comfort, and who have a standard foot width. This boot adapts perfectly to the morphology of women with a shell reduced by 14mm in height, and wider at the calf to better accommodate the morphology of women. Its new seamless one-piece liner is now becoming a benchmark in terms of comfort and ease of entry. Its new primaloft material with which it is designed, guarantees optimal comfort and warmth all day long. This liner also has an asymmetrical toe box which allows for more space and gains in comfort and mobility. The materials are thermoformable, which allows for effective customization of the liner to the skier's morphology.
ASSISTED PERFORMANCE SYSTEM
The Shadow is the first ski boot with assisted performance. This system allows the skier to achieve more power and more rebound while using less physical force. It is composed of two major innovations in the world of skiing: the double pivot and the suspension blade, which work together like the lever arm principle. The skier thus achieves 26% more rebound while using less physical energy.
NEW ONE PIECE LINER
The all-new, revolutionary Shadow liner will give you more comfort and a secure, locked-in feel. We've redesigned the liner's lines to eliminate any seams or pressure points that could create discomfort.
DUAL PIVOT
Most ski boots are built with one pivot point and two fixed points tightly focused on each other between the cuff and the shell. With the new Lange Shadow boot, the pivots are moved further apart, creating a lever effect and assisted performance. The energy traditionally used by the skier is here assisted by the double pivot. This way, you'll expend less physical energy and get more rebound, always in a progressive manner, a Lange trademark.
BLADE SUSPENSION
The suspension blade is a blade integrated between the shell and the cuff. With this new innovation, we have an excellent and fluid connection between the top and bottom of the boot. This provides you with vibration absorption, suspension, and more energy returned to your ski. The interchangeable elastomer integrated into the top of the blade allows you to adjust the flex sensation in the upper part of the turn and thus play on the skier's snap and rebound.
ADJUSTABLE PERFORMANCE - FLEX ADJUST
You can customize your flex by changing the elastomers located at the double pivot and the blade at the rear of the shell. This change of elastomer between soft and hard allows you to reduce the flex of the shoe by 10%.
ASYMMETRICAL TOE BOX
We've redesigned the toe box asymmetrically to better fit the shape of the foot and allow room for the toes. This eliminates pressure points.
