Prodigy 2
We have run out of stock for this item.
The Faction Prodigy 2 is a versatile ski designed for skiers looking for exceptional performance on all types of terrain.
Twin directional
Poplar is a soft, lightweight, and durable wood with a high vibration absorption capacity. When used on its own, it allows for easy buttering and provides excellent landing stability, both of which are essential attributes for a park ski.
Carbon and rubber stomp pad
A 600mm long, 15mm wide carbon/rubber reinforcement underfoot, above the edge, adds strength where it matters most for this performance-oriented ski. This reinforcement also protects the wood core from harsh impacts on rails.
Recycled materials
We work with our partners to reduce the amount of waste we generate. We recycle offcuts of sole, edgebanding, and topsheet for reuse, reducing our carbon footprint while maintaining the same level of quality and durability.
Local raw materials
In an effort to reduce the impact of our supply chain, we strive to purchase our raw materials from European companies located near our factories.
XL 2.5mm squares
2.5mm XL edges, compared to the industry average of 2mm, designed to last
Ultra-strong edges
Sidewalls are protective strips placed on both sides of the core, between the edge and the topsheet. Sidewalls provide optimal edge hold and stability, and they also protect the core, edges, and topsheet from possible impacts.
Elliptical radius dimension lines
Elliptical radius sidecuts consist of a longer radius under the foot and shorter radii on the front and back of the ski. The long radius under the foot allows for quick pivoting, and the shorter radii allow for smoother initiation of turns.
Anti-shatter micro-cap
The micro cap is a hybrid construction that combines premium edge sandwich construction, which is fused with a lightweight and durable cap construction. Thanks to the micro cap, the sandwich construction provides exceptional edge hold and torsional stability.
Mustache Flex
Enjoy stability in front of and behind the binding area for better edge hold. The flex becomes soft in the tips and tails to easily absorb various bumps. This flex allows for progress and makes it easier to initiate and finish turns.
