Backland Fr Sqs

The Atomic Backland FR SQS is a telescopic ski pole for use with our Bent Chetler and Backland skis. Just like its namesake, it was designed and developed with the help of freeskiing legend Chris Benchetler. A good freeride pole should keep you light, agile, and focused on the task at hand. So it's made from a lightweight aluminum alloy, with an all-new ergonomic grip that won't slip and an 85mm powder basket for improved flotation. It's equipped with the Atomic SQS safety release system, which instantly releases the strap under tension to prevent injury. It also has an integrated ski binding screwdriver, which is very handy for adjustments and repairs on snow. The pole has a carbide tip to protect it from rocks and trees, and you can use the Power Lock to adjust it from 110cm to 130cm.
