The Atomic BCT Freeride SQS is the ideal pole if deep, fresh snow is your preferred terrain. Made from lightweight 5* aluminum, it has low inertia and excellent tensile strength. This model features a grippy, mountain bike-inspired FR grip, meaning the upper part of the tube is covered in bar-tape-style foam, with the top rubberized. This non-slip, customizable grip is especially useful for climbs. This pole is equipped with Atomic SQS, our emergency release system that instantly releases the strap if too much tension is exerted to prevent injuries. Finally, the extra-wide powder basket ensures excellent floatation in deep snow.
