The Duke PT 16 (DIN 6-16), the flagship model of the Royal Family, marks a new milestone. It combines the superior functionality and downhill performance of a Jester with the uphill comfort of a pinned binding. Its highlight is the innovative Ride & Hike toe piece. In walk mode, simply unlock the upper part and tilt it forward, revealing the pinned binding. To reduce weight, the upper jaw can be removed and stowed in your backpack. The Lock & Walk multifunction unit automatically locks the brakes and provides 10° of climbing assistance. On the descent, the front part of the jaw clips onto the base plate and is secured quadruple by Auto Quad Lock technology. The toe piece now functions like an alpine toe piece, with all its advantages! The heel piece is the latest generation of Interpivot 3 freeride heel pieces, featuring a lightweight magnesium housing and improved stiffness. Its low 24mm height allows for direct power transmission and quick edge changes. Thanks to Multinorm certification, all Duke PT boots are compatible with alpine, touring, and GripWalk boots.
