Husky - Air-spun merino wool.
Husky is a super soft, chunky yet remarkably lightweight yarn.
Husky makes lightweight garments with a chunky, hand-knitted look. This yarn is air-spun. Each fiber end is blown into a core in the center of the yarn. This makes the yarn more durable than traditional soft yarns. The wool is then loosely knitted once before being spun into a soft, chunky sweater.
Naturally, our wool is mule-like. Garments knitted with Husky must be hand-washed. (Fiber diameter: 19.5 microns)
